To Start
Bring your Laptop/Phone to the plug-in location (Front corner of U-shape, Tech Table, Podium, Front Center Round)
Occasionally Cables may be tucked under your table. Follow the Yellow/Grey cable covers to find where they should be.
Video Support
Plug the provided HDMI/USB-C cable to your device. This is your video cable. Your device should display on the screen shortly afterwards.
If it doesn’t display confirm the following:
That your HDMI/USB-C cable is plugged into your device and the wall outlet/Projector
The projector is turned on
Your devices display settings are set for multiple screens. Either Duplicate or Extend Screen.
If your device doesn’t recognize that it is plugged into the projector please try turning it off and on again.
Audio Support
Plug the provided 3.5mm Aux/USB-C cable to your device. This is your audio cable. Your sound should work right away. Play a video or song to confirm your devices sound works properly.
If you can’t hear your sound confirm the following:
That your 3.5mm Aux/USB-C cable is fully plugged into your device.
If your device doesn’t recognize that it is plugged in please try turning it off and on again.
Check that your device isn’t muted and the volume is turned up. There may be separate volume controls on your device to determine sound levels and each one is able to mute.
Confirm in your devices sound settings that the 3.5mm Aux/USB-C is the selected output.
If you are using a microphone hold down the power button till the light turns green to power it on. To power it off hold the button till the green light turns off.
If the light turns red you need new batteries.
If the light turns orange, you have muted the mic. Just give the power button a quick click and it should unmute the mic.
A/V Notes
If your device does not take USB-C/HDMI/3.5mm Aux Please note you will need to have the proper adapter. Consult the list below to see which of the adapters you will need.
For older Apple Products: HDMI to Thunderbolt or Mini Display Port
For older Windows Products: HDMI to VGA
If you are unsure if the USB-C is an audio or video cable remove the USB-C adapter to see if you have an HDMI or 3.5mm Aux beneath.
If you are using a Clicker please remember to point towards your presenting computer and not to the screen.
